Ron is an entrepreneur who has worked in venture capital, M&A, software development
and software marketing.  Ron is the founder of Fullscope. Prior to founding Fullscope, Ron
was a General Partner at Endeavor Capital Management, where he led that firm's effort
to identify software and Internet-based investment opportunities. Prior to joining
Endeavor in 1994, Ron was President of Emerald Intelligence, which develops and
markets knowledge-based software tools for customer service and discrete
manufacturing environments. Before joining Emerald, Ron founded two companies:
Nemen Data Systems, which built PC database systems and Expert Implementations
Corp., a database and expert systems development firm.

Ron Graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in P
hysics-Engineering.



Prior to joining Endurance Ventures, Horace has worked with a number of early stage
businesses as will as for such blue-chip companies as GE (General Electric), AT&T, and
SNET. He has completed assignments in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Key executive
positions held over the duration of his career include Business Unit President, VP of
Business Development, VP of Strategic Planning, VP of M&A, CFO, Operations General
Manager.  He has advised both large and small companies in the high technology
industry including Toshiba America Information Systems Computer Systems Division,
Netscape, Bell Canada, Telecom New Zealand, Lotus Development Corp to name a few.
While the VP of Business Development at GE Information Systems (GEIS), Horace played
the lead role in the creation of the ground breaking joint venture, Actra LLC, between
GEIS and Netscape Communications which focused on the business-to-business
electronic commerce markets on the Internet.

He is the author of Multimedia Market Trends (1995 and 1996) -- an analysis and forecast
of the future for the converging communications, computing, content, and consumer
electronics industries – and Breakout Deals Can Be Game Changers – the ABCs of
Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, and Strategic Alliances.

Horace holds both a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree in finance and
operations management and a Masters of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from
Columbia University.



David began his career in New York at Hambrecht & Quist in 1983 as an associate
software and services industry analyst.  After moving to San Francisco in 1987, he was
promoted to senior analyst, then the youngest ever at the firm.  After a stint as a
software analyst at Prudential Securities from 1991 to 1993, Mr. Thomas took a sell side
position with O’Connor & Associates (a division of Swiss Bank Corp.) as a portfolio
manager/analyst.

He managed a $20 million hedge fund and guided the options trading operations for the
firm’s software arbitrage group.  Mr. Thomas has also held positions at Oracle
Corporation and First Albany/META Group Technology Research, and launched a start up
company in 1998.  

David graduated from Brown University in 1984 with a degree in economics.



Thomas Pennell is the Managing Member of Pennell Venture Partners, LLC  which is the
General Partner of Pennell Venture Partners Marathon Fund, L.P. and Pennell Venture
Partners Marathon Fund II, L.P. As an early stage venture investor, PVP has embraced
the ideas of diligent preparation, calculated risk taking, exceptional effort and
perseverance as keys to success. These themes are behind the name of our investment
funds.

Thomas Pennell, the President of the General Partner, founded PVP in 1996 and
established the Marathon Fund in 1998 and the Marathon Fund II in 2000.

Prior to establishing PVP, Thomas, who has a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and
an MBA from New York University, held positions in venture capital and small business
finance with Chase Manhattan Bank, Endeavor Capital Management and Access Capital.
